If you have ever sat across the table from someone with bad table manners, overheard someone speaking loudly on their cell phone, or had your

questions to a customer service representative answered with “yea”, “I dunno” or “whatever”, then you’ll understand why manners matter.

Studies have shown that children between ages of six to ten are more receptive to changing a set of known incorrect values than older children. It also reveals that the earlier they learn these skills, the more natural it would be for them to use them in everyday communication with others.

Our aim is to show young people that modern manners are not stuck up or complicated, but are more about being considerate of others, and feeling at ease in the way you treat people. We also show them that its not just about success or failure, they are about you, your friends, family, teachers and other people working thoughtfully together.
